The Leviathan P215, also referred to as the RP215 or P215 Hibou, is a two-seat Le Mans Protoype built by French automaker Leviathan-Automobile. It shares the same chassis as the C215, P313, and F416.

Build InformationEdit

The original modification of the P215 was completed on the 18th of February, 2015. After experiments with the C215 proved the car could be competitive with gearbox and weight changes, a separate project using the 215 chassis was created. Unlike the road-going 215, the race chassis uses an MR layout and a fine-tuned 6-speed gearbox. Apart from the wheelbase and engine, the P215 is an entirely different car in terms of styling and performance.

The vehicle participated in a few casual player-versus-player overtake battles, which began to show the drawbacks of the car's design-- its lack of power and heavy handling.

Weeks after the original P215 design made its online debut, plans for a modified V8-Powered version were finally realized. The MKII variation featured a 7.2L V8, minor but important cockpit indicators, wire clutch front brakes, and a reworked body style. The V8 upgrade proved to be a double-edged sword-- on one hand it improved the car's top speed and acceleration, but it also drastically upset the handling of the original P215. The MKII is very prone to spinning out on launches and gear changes.

Despite these improvements, the MKII is less suitable for competitive racing. As a result, this car appeared very few times online.

Design InformationEdit

The MKI is based primarily off of the Ferrari 312PB. The MKII shares many of the same design features, however the reworked rear section of the car is based in part by the Ford GT40 MKII.
