One very particular engagement with an experimental super-heavy tank by an unknown manufacturer revealed the need for a heavy tank destroyer. A tank destroyer variant of the Type-31 (the St.Type-31b) was used as a place holder while engineers began production of the Type-32. With a long barrelled 120mm cannon and high-velocity APHE and AP ammunitions, the Type-32 excels at long-range engagements against heavy armour. It is Stalker Inc.'s primary dedicated tank destroyer and still holds the current record of most confirmed long-range kills.
